LAK Participates in 19th Annual General Assembly in Sukute

The Liquor Association of Kathmandu (LAK) participated in the 19th Annual General Assembly of the Nepal Liquor Business Federation, held on December 21 at Sandy Beach Resort, Sukute, Sindhupalchok.

The assembly was conducted under the chairmanship of the Federation’s President, with participation from central office bearers, advisors, provincial presidents, district representatives from across the country, and liquor-related companies.

LAK President Mr. Rup Tamang delivered a formal address on behalf of the district associations, emphasizing the need for stronger organizational alignment, policy clarity, and expanded local-level involvement in national matters. Koshi Province President Mr. Nabin Tamang also addressed the gathering from the provincial side.

During the program, former Lalitpur District Association President Mr. Upendra Lakhe was nominated to the Federation’s central committee. The assembly also included progress report presentations, approval of financials, and discussions on national coordination within the liquor sector.
